£70k to support #allentonbigbuild
We’re pleased to report that an agreement for £70k of Big Local funding to support the refurbishment of St Martin’s Community Centre on Flint Street has been signed by Allenton Big Local, St Martin’s Methodist Church and Enthusiasm (our Locally Trusted Organisation).
The community centre at St Martin’s is to receive a huge revamp through a DIY-SOS-style community project led by Hodgkinson Builders and supported by Allenton Big Local and Derby Homes.
Work to transform St Martin’s Community Centre will be completed over the summer and will include the installation of a café where members of the community will be able to enjoy coffee, tea or lunch.
