The Plan for Allenton

The partnership group reviewed all the material from the consultation phase and explored the views and needs of local people.  From this process, the group drew out emerging priorities, which have shaped the following vision.

‘Our vision for Allenton Big Local area is for a stronger community by bringing about visible change through raising aspirations, opportunities and skills’

This is a 10-year programme and we are currently in Year 3. You can read the Delivery Plan for the period April 2019 to March 2022 here on our website. The Plan is reviewed annually to ensure that the priorities continue to reflect the needs of the area.

The Big Local funding for Allenton is co-ordinated through a Local Trusted Organisation (LTO). The Partnership Group agreed that The Enthusiasm Trust, an independent charity who have been working in the area since 1992 supporting young people and their families, should co-ordinate the money on behalf of the Partnership Group.
