Match report from AUFC Juniors
In 2014, the Allenton Big Local project awarded Allenton United Football Club with funding for a new kit and other equipment for the junior teams. We spoke to Zak Stevenson, Chairman of Allenton UFC to find out how the teams were doing. He provided us with the following match report for the games that took place on the weekend of 22 September.
Under 12 Group 7
Allenton United Audi U12 8 – 2 Stanton Ilkeston Colts U12
Under 10 Group 2
Spondon Dynamos Black Sox U10 1 – 3 Allenton United Red Sox U10
Charlie Lewis bagged a brace for Allenton. Their other goal came from Kian McVeigh. Jevan Purcell-Jackson scored for Spondon.
U9 Ken Oxford Memorial Cup Group 2
Duffield Dynamos Spartans U9 0 – 6 Allenton United Red Sox U9
Both teams performed well, but Allenton’s super finishing paid off. Their goals came from Kiedis Lee (2), Reece Lane, Kile O’Reilly, Bradley Brittan and Keelan Winfield.
(Allenton United U8 and U7 is non-competitive, so their results cannot be published in line with FA Rules).
